McAfee buyout

Somebody at Intel is smoking some mighty fine dope.

The last time the stock traded there was in 1999. Helloooo bubble.

I don't know why people think executives are any better at timing investments than anyone else; you tend to see IPO and buyout activity pick up at tops rather than bottoms when things are actually cheap. Executives are people, just like anyone else, and subject to herd mentality.

I'd like to know why $35 per share was not good enough for a stock trading at 29 the day before.
