Ganja Mon!

Rise up this mornin'; smiled with the risin' sun.
Three little birds pitch by my doorstep
Singin' sweet songs of melodies pure and true; saying,
"This is my message to you-ou-ou.”

Singin': "Don't worry about a thing, ‘cause ev-ry little thing gonna be all right."
Sayin': "Don't worry about a thing, ‘cause ev-ry little thing gonna be all right!"

Three little Birds - Bob Marley & The Wailers (1977)

The Fed passed out the joints and the market smoked them.  More free money!

ZIRP until late 2014. The three little birds (Bernanke, Geithner and apparently Elijah the prophet) were indeed singing sweet songs of hope.

Too bad gold said otherwise.

Don't worry about a thing? Be afraid, be very afraid. (The Fly, 1986).

The new world order, when it comes to investing. In 35 years I can't remember a time when interest rate projections were not a major point of analysis. Now that entire equation has been removed. Zero rates for three years. Wow, what a message to send. In days gone by, sustained low rates have always been associated with a bubble forming. I wonder where this one is going to be?

They say it was tech in 2000, housing in 2007 and now it is debt.
